My Preferences for Officials

Personal Info : My Preferences

Game / Team Conflicts allow you to specify leagues, teams, age groups, etc. that you can’t (or shouldn’t) officiate. These conflicts will assist your assignor by automatically removing your name from consideration from games that match conflicts you enter.

Some common examples of why you would have a Conflict are listed below as well as instructions on how to enter the corresponding Conflict.

  • Example 1 - Daughter plays on team - Select the team from the list.  Then select the Age (and Level if applicable) from the list.  Next, select the appropriate gender of the team she plays on.  If she plays in a male division, be sure to select Male instead of Coed.
    • NOTE:  This will prevent you from being assigned to games for your daughter’s team in that age level only.  You will still be eligible to officiate for other teams in that Age/Level.
  • Example 2 - You coach in a specific Age Group - Select the League of the team you coach from the list.  Then Select the Age (and Level if applicable) from the list.  Next, select the appropriate gender of the team you coach.
    •  NOTE:  This will prevent you from being assigned to games where any teams from the League and Age/Level you specified, in the Conflict, are participating.  If you want to avoid an Age/Level in any League, simply leave the League as "N/A" and the conflict will apply to all Leagues instead of a specified League.
  • Example 3 - You work for a school - Select the team from the list.  Do not specify Age, Level or Gender for this type of Conflict.
    •  NOTE:  This will prevent you from being assigned to games where the team you specified is participating regardless of Age, Level, Gender.

League / Tournament Preferences allow you to choose the Leagues / Tournaments that you want to work with.  By checking the box next to a League / Tournament, you will be added to the list of potential officials to be assigned to games in the Leagues you have chosen.  Make sure to Save the preferences.

Working Area Preferences allow you to pick the location areas that you are willing to work.  Choose the radio button that best suits each location to your preference.  Choose yes, no or maybe for each area listed.  Save your preferences.

Misc Preferences / Notes allow you to type in any further notes, conflicts, you may have regarding Location Prefs, Schedule Prefs and Team Prefs.  Here, you are also able to enter in the Maximum Games per Day you are willing to work.

**If you do not see one of these Preferences on your Official’s Preferences Screen, your assignor has chosen not to use that feature.
